Well I might as well go ahead and make my traditional New Year's Journal. I dunno if I'll have time for it otherwise this week. . I spent the past week in a wonderful place called Arizona and I'll be leaving for another US state Wednesday. What a busy break! Not looking forward to returning to school of course lD;;

Alright, well before I get rambling about stupid crap, let's get down to business? Did everyone have a good Xmas? I know I did, I got Blood+ Part 2, an Angela Aki concert DVD, a sleeping Gizamimi plush (the one I've wanted for a looong time now), and a new phone. I am quite pleased. It's like. . . Almost everything that I love! So perfect <333 And I hope everyone else out there got at least one thing they wanted as well. _{Speaking of wants, did anyone else know the dub for El Cazador de la Bruja was out? I sure didn't but I'd like to take a watch sometime to see how badly they screwed it up <3 Still wanting to test the Baccano dub too}

As for resolutions, well I can't really remember mine from last year. I know I wanted to be on a favorite artist list and I didn't really achieve that, it's okay now though hehe. I think I also wanted to be able to draw people. Well, still working on that, but it's better than last year still. My first New Year's resolution will be the same then, I want to get good at people this year. I have to start working harder. My second is to finish one meme this year (and not the handwriting meme, that don't count). As for a third. . . Well. . . I dunno, I'll think about it. I need a third lD;

The next thing I was considering putting in this journal since last week, features. Just for this journal only because this is a 'special' journal. I want to feature ALL art uploaded here to dA intended for me EVER. Because when I say I love giftart, I mean it so much. It always just makes my day. These features are well deserved, please enjoy them, fave a few and support these awesome people!!



Okay, I want to say first, if you have something up here and you don't like the way it looks because it's old, or whatever your excuse is, shut up now =v= Even I, the queen of excuses and lack of confidence, wouldn't diss on old giftart. It's really the thought that counts, I could care less about art quality, in fact, I don't even see it. I just see that you people were nice enough to even draw something for me and for that, I am really grateful <3 That should be everything here on dA, if I've missed something, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASEEEE let me know! I don't want anyone left out! _{Sis and pixiebee, why did you delete things hmmmmm? =v=}

Eh, looking back at some of that giftart brings back some memories haha. There's a lot of characters I don't use anymore, Katie, Solomon, even my old image of myself. I updated it to be more accurate, IRL, I'm just a tired, short kid with bad memory and bad fashion sense lD; I kinda miss old Kangai, but that was just a 'because-I-needed-a-character' type of character, there really wasn't a whole lot too it. Besides, I have Joyro, my fakemon now, and I think that's much better. A lot of old character/storyness went into my newer characers because when I created my newer characters I never really expected it to go anywhere so I just based em on old stuff. Well huh.

But I want to thank everyone here for being so awesome (and especially if you can make it through this big, long, probably pointless ramble of a journal). It's not just the giftart, it's not just the being here, it's that people here have really really made things fun. Comments, deviations, journals, polls, you name it. I enjoy this site so much, being away from it for seven days was actually kinda painful, especially around the holidays when everyone is doing their awesome Xmas journals, uploading their pretty xmas pics, and just overall being in good spirits. If it weren't for this site, I'm not sure I would have gone anywhere with my art, and I mean that. This site is what inspired me to pick up drawing seriously. And without the people here that support me now, I dunno if I could even continue at such a strong pace. Sure, I draw for my own joy, but it would be a lot less fun if I didn't have my wonderful watchers always there to faithfully comment and all that (even though I don't think I quite deserve all of the niceness you people give <3333 ). It's not even just my art. I look for new things to favorite all the time because there's so much lovely art here, it's inspiring, motivating. Other's art has helped me immensely. So again, thank you all SO MUCH. This place is just. . . Amazing for me <3

Last year I did friend features and a lot of people. . . Took the idea lD;; I felt unoriginal but I don't really care to be honest lD; If I remember correctly, I also sorta took the idea from frzdragon so yanno. We're all thieves in the end! SO LET'S DO IT AGAIN EVERYONE! It's great that people take the time for their friends, really <333 /shutsup (Well actually I also wanted to apologize for not featuring as many people this year, I don't have the same amount of time ^ ^; )

- This year was definitely a differet year for us both, you had a lot of stuff going on, I did my best in my fail-tastic way to be there when I could but I want to try to get better in 2010, there, that'll be my third New Year's Resolution hehe. I need to be a better sister, especially since I'm the older one, don't argue, I am lD; RPing is fun, blah, blah, I'm not sure if there's anything to say here that I haven't said over IM at some point at some early 2-3 AMish hour lD; Ahhh, well being sappy is hard even though it's what I do best, it just doesn't come out often lD; You're amazing sissss, thanks for being amazing, keep being amazing <333 -shotshotshot-

- Ugh, what would I do without you Zealand-desu, and you're weekendly visits to the modern world lD You are not a human because it's not possible to be in a good mood 24/7, even when bad things happen. . . -___- "Bin cosplay, sister <3" . AHEM ANYWAYS. - Every year, we get to talk less and less ;__; But my opinion of you from the last time we IMd is the same, OMFGBBQ. lD <33 Kureeee, you're so amazingly nice and talented, why won't you recognize it? THERE IS A KURE FANCLUB OUT THERE. YOU CAN'T DENY THAT. Your art has ALWAYS inspired me because you have such a beautiful style and I am really lucky to know someone as cool as you <33 That you'd want to talk to a loser like me ;w; I hope I get to talk to you again in 2010! Early 2010 too! >w<

- I felt more distant from you this year too, which is sad, but understandable, you're busy, I'm getting more and more busy as high school progresses heh. . Ah, but our friendship will always be special to me, I'm sure we'd still get along perfectly if I were to open up a conversation with you at this very moment, that's a strong friendship if ya ask me. This coming year, let's talk more! <33

- Oh man, how should I even start this. . . Seeing your art throughout the years is amaaazing. There was this time when you just improved in like, an instant, and now you're one of those really amazing artists and wow ;w; I-I just love your style so much, it's kinda K-ON-y but still very unique and it's just adorable. Not only is your art good but you're like, super nice to me all the time <333 I really appreciate you putting up with me lD <33
